It is with great sadness to share that Retiree Harding R. Tuttle passed away on
Sunday, May 15, 2022.
He was 85 years of age and served with the CFD for over 16 years.
Left to cherish his memory is his grandson, Sonny Eddins and grand daughter in law,
Anna Eddins along with his family and friends.
His wife, Doris and son, Woody preceded him in death.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the loss of former firefighter Hazel Erwin after a battle with cancer.
Erwin was born in Charlotte on Nov. 10, 1944, to his parents Samuel and Nanny Erwin.
Erwin joined the Charlotte Fire Department on October 18, 1967 and was the first Black firefighter for the City of Charlotte. He resigned on March 20, 1974.
Erwin’s funeral was held Monday, May 16, 2022 at New Waves of Joy, 4739 E W T Harris Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28215. Viewing was from 11 a.m. – noon, and the funeral begins immediately after the viewing.
A repast service was held at the Clanton Pavilion, 3132 Manchester Drive Charlotte, NC 28208.

It’s with a heavy heart that I share with you the passing of Matt Bosnick’s mother, Jody Bosnick.
Arrangements have been finalized for the memorial services being held to honor Jody Bosnick. Both services will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church located at 9000 Warfield Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20882.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19th from 2:00-4:00pm as well as Friday, May 20th from 10:30-11:30am.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 20th at 11:30am.
Flowers can be sent to the church or the funeral home (https://www.devolfuneralhome.com) . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Jody to one of two organizations which she held dear to her heart. The first is Shady Grove Pregnancy Center (https://www.pregnancy-options.org). The second is the Catholic Charities Organization (https://www.catholiccharitiesusa.org).
