It is with great sadness we share that Retiree Dennis Blanton passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. He was 73 years of age and served with the CFD for over 31 years. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Dolores and his daughter, Callie along with his extended family and friends.

Ray Cheek, the father of retired FF Steve Cheek, grandfather of FF Cody Cheek and FF Devan Watts, passed away on Monday, January 17^th, 2022.  Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be communicated when finalized.  The family has requested no phone calls at this time.

With a heavy heart I regret to inform you that Jimmie Carroll Sr., Father of Engineer Jimmie Carroll Jr. (Engine 14A) passed away surrounded by family on Monday January 17^th, 2022. Arrangements are still being made for a small graveside service for family and friends in his hometown of Greenville, NC.
